Dregs

Dregs

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Dregs

Bitter dregs of coffee

leave a dark aftertaste

on my tongue,

to remind my heart

I enjoyed the drink,

but that parting is no fun.

Thank you for your kindness Thomas
This is especially beautiful. To the point, and powerful in the imagery and emotion it depicts.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
