A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Free

I am not broken

for I am whole at last.

Too many tears have rolled,

too many barbs been cast.

The time is now,

the time is mine.

I will not bow,

I will steel myself

to enjoy

the wealth of my spirit.

To build upon a soul

so tortured

by a catholic past,

but so strong,

so willing

and determined

to break free.

Your words almost form a Celtic cross. I enjoy your style of writing, almost as if you are speaking to the reader, only prettier. Your determination shows.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
