A Siren of Titian

A Siren of Titian

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

A Siren of Titian

Through crystal waters I see you;

A siren calling me to my fate.

I sculpt the future in Titian peat

Thus believing the form I have created.

Such extraordinary fortune is Constant;

Rakish in arrogance,

Seeking a place where different truths are meshed.

And I am drowned by the waves,

Within whose power I spiral,

Helpless in this empty space.

In this state I see the future

And that future is you.

And out of nothingness the prime mover

Will greet you with devotion

And as the smoke clears

The ending will be the sweet irony

Of a complex and convoluted story of the deepest love.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
