Jet

Jet

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Jet

You break through

my calm

like a whirring

blade of steel

as you race through the sky

parting the blue earth

with such

power.

You make me wince

In the horror

of your noisy dominance

slicing through my peace

with such awesome destruction.

I try.
Enjoyed this very much....awesome destruction is a great way to end a action movie, let alone a poem.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
