What Would You Have Me Do?

What Would You Have Me Do?

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

What would you have me do?

Your mystical magic drifts across my universe.

Bright saffron fronds that colour my world.

Cumin and ginger and cinnamon;

flavours so vivid and full, they excite my tastes

and leave me wanting more.

Soft fabric Indian prints

bursting with shape and form and texture;

sensual to the touch.

Your naked breasts so confident; so proud.

Lean lines that Titian portrayed, exact.

Lips whose experience betrays

such modesty and demure grace

as to confound and tease and confuse.

An enigma in being;

a puzzle to unravel, to comprehend,

to trust.

So what would you have me do

to bring certainty to my mind

and give you my true heart?

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
