Pieces of a Dream

Pieces of a Dream

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Pieces of a Dream

Like falling rain that slips wet across my skin,

my hopes and dreams were washed away.

Like Autumn leaves that drop and wither on the ground

my desires and visions shrivelled and were gone.

Like confetti tossed at bride and groom,

my fantasies were scattered to the winds,

never more than pieces of a dream.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
