Dear Poetess

Dear Poetess

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Dear Poetess

I would spill your blood

upon these pages

for the slights you

have portrayed.

But of my wrath

you are not worthy

even though

you have betrayed

my love.

Thank you marc I am glad you like it.
The wrath of John the Poet...Holy, a fate worse than death! Couldn't think of anything worse, unless it's having your eyeballs plucked out from your head! ;-) Nice one

This makes me wonder how one would portray a slight... Too short for me to reflect and decide. :D
