Bleed me with your words,

cut into my flesh deeply

with your paper cuts,

as you hide behind the mask

that protects you from your fears.

Wow, John, you write a lot and very fast ! But I remember reading once that Slyvia Plath
often wrote two or three poems a day...this I like, captures the style of Japanese poetry, lyrical with metaphorical strength...

Hi Leslie, Sorry for the high output but I have been off work for two weeks using up the last of my annual leave. The weather has been terrible so the gardening jobs I had planned turned into the most lazy fortnight I have ever had. Reading and writing has been my indulgence. I will be back to normal leasurely pace by 2nd April. But I do thank you for your indulgence, I truely value your views. Which reminds me do you not send read requests?

I loved this, it was short but man you hit it hard! It was straight to the point, it was powerful and it had an 'oomph'
