Madness

Madness

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Madness

My psychosis has no bounds,

for that

I make no apology!

Why should I be shackled

by earthly convention

when I can live my every thought

and each delicious delusion,

and leave this tainted world behind?

Why should I deny my own mind

when it sees with exact precision

the persecutors who pursue me.

When it allows my escape

to happier, albeit false, beliefs

I am Jesus!

The SON of God

And I am free from sin!

I'm all for madness, it keeps us semi-sane. I'm not Jesus, I have sin and I do not forgive those trespasses against us. Especially the big whoopers! This is interesting John, to say the least, I think it speaks to the lunacy of beliefs beyond comprehension. You are a genius or a madman, sometimes I can't decide, but I love to read you.

Ha, see there's a problem there.
As you combine the last lines of this with mental illness, then I understand this to be critical of religion ( or have I read this wrongly ?), so I am not too sure what to make of this, but I like the oppourtunity to work at the content..

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
