Faithless

Faithless

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Faithless

I dare not contemplate

this dream

for it has taken too many

changes of the moon

to reach my world.

Too many cycles of the sun

have passed and scorched my flesh

till my bones are arid dry.

For too long I have lived

in this abyss of sadness,

that deep and empty place

where hope has no light

and the energy of love

dare not evoke the demons

that guard hate so well.

Beautiful. That touched me, it really did. That was very well written. I think I will read more.

Very nicely written, and these lines were my favorite. Well done =)

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
