Her Jailer

Her Jailer

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Her Jailer

The ravens of death

will come for you,

blackly pecking

your putrid flesh

and leaving your crumbling bones

to bleach in the sun

of your darkest sins.

No penance will save you,

you have to pay the price

for the devil’s work.

A work you relished

while you danced

as her spirit broke

and you trampled on her

crumpled heart.

Such evil deeds

will cast you now

to the darkest corners of the Earth

where you must hide your guilt

until Hades calls you

to your rightful place

in Satan’s stinking lair.

This reeks of domestic violence. Very vivid and disturbing. Great work, John.

You are ferocious and harsh with your subject matter, I got a feeling of dark foreboding reading this like I was locked in the Tower of London

He should be locked away for the way he treated the woman he called his wife! Thanks Leigh

As always it is my pleasure to read your work
There is fierce, unforgiving power in these words. Condemning the adversary to a lifetime of darkness. Wow. Karma at its best... having to pay the price for the devil's work.

Awesome, strong piece of work.

WOW! Fantastic piece. No letting them A off the hook. Commanding in its own way. How one is and/or feel sometimes when they damaged/hurt. Reminds me my own I did called Cat Crazy. If you read it and/or my other works, let know if you like them with feedback. Thanks. Now I will read some of your others.

This is such a commanding poem, much like the jury's declaration of a punishment of the highest degree. It is absolutely awesome with crisp words and mind piercing imagery! Bravo John !

Pleasure is mine John!
The darkest corners of the earth would be loneliness. Jail cell forever separated from society. Isolated. No one to hear your cries and feel your pain. This would be hell.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
