In Prayer

In Prayer

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

In Prayer

You are the golden temple

at which I choose to worship.

I pay homage to every aspect of your being

as you open up your sweet doors

and welcome me into

your gentle sanctuary.

A place where we share divinity

and the glow of angel’s breath

caresses our naked skin

in warm ripples of erotic ecstasy.

I kneel, head bowed at your altar.

In servitude, I place myself

at the disposal of your willing kiss;

soft hands that have baked me bread,

that have touched me to my core.

And so I offer you my heart,

my soul,

my final breath,

and all I could ever give

to such a worthy Goddess.

*Sigh* this is pure loveliness on the page John, what lovely images and thoughts you've pen'd here.

A place where we share divinity
and the glow of angel’s breath
caresses our naked skin
in warm ripples of erotic ecstasy.

I want me some divinity....just utterly gorgeous.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
