Ending Miracles

The evening sun is perfect

for the bronzing of my bones

even though your deception

leaves bitter undertones.

For I have been there often

let down by female guile

and on each sad occasion

recovery takes a while.

But I surrender easily

and build up a thick skin

so I will regain hope

and seek again to win.

And when the music ends

and you stop and look around

you will never see again

the miracle you found.

Why thank you kind lady!
I was curious about the "bone bronzing" line especially, I enjoyed the scene which you have depicted.

Thank you Leslie, yet again.
I absolutely adore how judiciously you word things! You're use of imagery, like the "bronzing" of your bones simply brought the piece to another level. The rhyming was perfect and the rhythm was precise, it had a lovely flow to it, and you managed to keep the content interesting and meaningful all the same. This was truly a joy to read.

Thank you GA for such a lovely and well considered review.
That's the spirit my friend and I am very happy with your indomitable spirit and winning attitude. Those who don't recognize miracles, deserve to lose them.

I wish you the very best always. Take good care John.

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
