Memory of LoveA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenMemory of Love I felt your thoughts drift to me, if merely for an instant. It was like a cooling breeze on a still, hot and sultry summer day as it wafted unexpectedly, but welcome across my soul. Then you quickly shut the thought away, deep in that place where you bury all of your responsibilities. But it will slip out again and as time passes will mean less and less, until I am simply a forgotten lover.
