Destiny

Destiny

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Destiny

We have been lovers from afar,

bound by words that touched our souls.

Enchantment that flowed in intimate ink

from ethereal pages.

Stories of love and magic,

of dreams set in tranquillity

on the very edge of heaven.

Of what ifs and wet desires;

of butterflies and breathlessness,

and deep, deep pounding anticipation.

Of gentle strokes and passionate kisses,

of falling slowly into loves safe hands

and letting go………

………freefalling.

Of give and take in naked, unbridled, craving

of making our bed where we choose,

when we choose to.

Of leaving past hurt behind

and believing.

Of faith in angels

and the joy we know we have

for each other’s hearts.

So breathe in the scent that flows

from our mutual lust

and let us both surrender.

I like this one best of the four I read today, for its breathless wanting, its mystery, its enticement, and its romantic sensuousness. Gorgeous.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
