If You Dare

If you dare dream

then you may dance

to ethereal tunes

under moonlit stars.

If you dare believe

then you are free,

liberated to think,

to breathe, to live.

If you dare trust

then the warmth

of affection and devotion

will be yours to choose.

And if you give

of yourself completely,

place yourself in my care,

you will find your true and enduring love.

I appreciate the your usage of the word "dare". It is very difficult and very scary to. That's why so many people build a wall around themselves and prefer to live in solitary confinement rather than dare trust.
