Passionate WritesA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenJust a bit of fun!Passionate Writes I sacrifice many poets upon the altar of critique, plunging my sharpened dagger deep within the swollen, visceral breasts of their anaemic emotion. I am a raging evangelist out to rid the earth and its ethereal sister of tepid verse. Let your pen spit fire. Have a rage of anger in your voice that lifts us from our languid torpor. Pulls us ever closer to the super-heated magma at the very core of creation, where the melting can begin. Where fire scorches the flesh from the very bones of poetry. Let your words of love be roasting hot, dripping in wet desire that soaks the page in the sweat of ardent, urgent penetration. Let it be a boiling cauldron of lust and not a damp squib!
