Don't Mock My Pain

Don't Mock My Pain

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Let me bleed.

"

Don’t Mock My Pain

Feel free to mock

my sanity,

for you then judge

me cheaply.

You discard the truth

of pain.

You ignore the true

meaning of emotion

and its depth

within the soul of an errant man.

Do you see the heart merely

as a heavy, solid, lifeless rock

or as a pulsing, beating

pumping organ,

alive within a moist breast?

One lubricated by desire,

by loyalty to true love.

So my belief, my faith

has slipped for a moment in time

as my body and soul recovers

from the blows

inflicted by punctured

belief in hollow words,

as I have become the victim

of blatant and unworthy deceit.

Mocking another's pain truly shows a lack of empathy. No one can know another person's journey in this life, and it is cruel to trivialize someone else's struggle.

Thank you 'M'
John i am really going thtough a harsh phase in my life. A smile we fake hides thousands of crack within us. But even the strongest breakdown at some point of time.so when people mock my inner goddess winks at me. Because soon there will be a time in their life that will suffer the same.I really use this line a lot but i say don't mock my passion!hah. Well this was a wonderful poem so full of angst. I will keep it tugged at my heart for a long time :) love and wishes

I think only those who have never felt any romantic heartbreak would ever mock it. The pain can be overwhelming as though someone has died. Perhaps sometimes … we do however underestimated the time need for recovery:)

we more often than not, get mocked by those who choose to hide their pain...

but eventually those who mock will suffer the same emotions...and then will understand.

we are not insane...we don't choose to be dramatic...we don't choose to be victims..

and they will soon find out...what knocks us down and out, makes us stronger when we get up.

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
