Who Pays The PiperA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenWe live in a corrupt society.Who Pays The Piper Always the groom, never the best man at the funeral of hearts where undertakers, with law degrees, in dark suits, with dark faces and hollow eyes, watch with glee as more names are etched upon headstones of oak. And as more forests are felled they lay tarmac, lit by eco friendly street lights, and build sleazy hotels and clubs of ill repute where fish may gather to spawn and begin the life cycle again in order to satisfy the feeding frenzy.
