Black DaysA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenLonliness kills!Black Days The days are empty now, the sun is gone and I have no oxygen to breathe and so my soul deflates like a black balloon. The silence is heavy, unbearable, and it crushes the very life from my lungs and each whisper of wind or creak of a once living home, now long dead, sparks delusions. Dark paranoid feelings of betrayal by life itself. So the demons rise for their victory march, as love deserts and abandons me again and again and again.
