Odin's Pain

Odin's Pain

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

What price infidelity?

"

Odin’s Pain

How strikes the hammer blow

as you break mankind’s heart

and make sacred

your brutal infidelity?

Bowed by that deceptive serpent,

whom he smite,

he will take

only nine steps more

until that fatal

venom strikes him dead.

And Odin doth weep

for his son

as the sky turns black

and raging fire engulfs the world,

as the stars disappear

and flames dance before the sky,

over lands where hot

steam rises, and the floods

of the mighty God’s tears

drowns all the peoples

of the earth.

this reminds me of what is going on in our school...the administration made fatal errors in judgment and act....and we have been penalized financially, severely...and it seems they are taking it out on all of us who had nothing to do with it all..

just as the gods do bad things to each other, and then the people suffer...the anger is taken out on them...
such logic and parallel lines drawn here.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
