Secret Desire.

Secret Desire.

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

When two souls meet.

"

Secret Desire.

If your nascent ebony skin

could be mine to touch,

your eyes mine to observe

and your lips mine to contemplate

and to consume,

I would be ecstatic.

You have set a fire within me

that will not be extinguished

by mere social convention.

If your innocence would

desire me,

who am I to deny

such beauty.

Who am I to resist

such perfection?

Thank you so much Kelly
The urgency of passion and desire is strong in this one, John. It seems you are in awe of the attraction you have to someone.....I hope she reads this. Lydi**

Just a notion Lydi, Thank you!
We men can use all the pretty poetic rationalizations we can get--as long as she's not actually jail bait.
On the other hand, this approach could work equally well with someone who's not, in fact, innocent or inexperienced but--for a time--wishes you to think so.
In any event, John, your work is clever, lyrical and well done.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
