Truely

Loving

There is honour in love;

in taking honestly

and giving with an open heart.

In feeling such devotion

for the needs of another.

In promising forever

with passion,

and seeing nothing

but that devotion

bring life to a soul.

There is bliss

in commitment,

in vows that bind

two people to the altar

where they pledge

to remain true

until death.

While this ideal may seem old fashioned in our fast-food, throw-it-away society, for me it is an truly admirable stance to take and one Im in favour of. It demands many things of both parties which takes moral fibre and resilience. Though this is probably the path less travelled nowadays - if it is taken seriously by both - the reward is true devotion and love.
