Dancing to Springsteen (Lainey III)

Dancing to Springsteen (Lainey III)

Beckon me to love and I shall not be restrained! [JAM 2015}

Dancing to Springsteen (Lainey III)

We shared a simple moment in time,

but it held a gushing torrent of hope,

an invigorating conversation

of the possibility of love.

We bathed one another

in the sweet trusting water of words.

Our mouths painting the colours

of dreams and desires.

We shared in each breath

a deep intimacy

that only those meant to be lovers can offer.

And I felt you, sensed your grace,

your charm, your warmth,

and the flame was lit.

So let us build a tree house

in your garden,

then let’s kiss and dance

to Springsteen until dawn;

as we watch yet another sunrise

full of beauty,

full of promise,

and full of the passion

of our sweet embrace.

A journey through romance, using the backdrop of a song significant to the writer. Well done.

Beautiful poem, two hearts tangled in love.
The song is beautiful.

Thank you Ana
Almost sounds like an internet friendship that sprung into a full blown romance. Words mean so much...especially to a poet. Great Springsteen song to accompany your words! "So let us build a tree house in your garden" Fantastic line! Once again, the passion is filled with a sensual urgency...wonderful. Lydi**

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
