Words of a Poetess

Words of a Poetess

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

A woman of words!

"

Words of a Poetess

You write with the most eloquent tongue.

A language carried upon sweet zephyrs

to the ears of man, where each word

melts and drips in honeyed kisses

upon willing flesh; and when consumed

they leave an airy intoxication

upon his naked soul

so that he yearns it, is your addict,

so drunk with the love of it

he becomes your willing

and devoted servant.

Words have the power to consume us and your piece is proof that sometimes we are left dripping with servitude for those who move us. A grand tribute to the poetess.

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
