The perfect symmetry

of warmth upon my skin.

The easy tilt of the earth

in glow.

Sweet mown grass,

insect buzz

and children's voices.

A capture of times

long gone

by the lingering days

as life slips past.

The place where

flesh and sun and nature

merge as one

and I keep my peace.
