Karina's Sky

Karina's Sky

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

In memory of true love

"

Karina's Sky

I won't stop loving you

just because you decided

it was over.

I won't hate you either

for in my heart

for you is only love.

I won't forget

the way we were,

nor will I get over it,

for the cut was savage

in my soul.

The deeper the love

the more brutal

the ending.

But for you my desire

will always burn.

And when the midnight sun

is on your face again,

remember the silver

moons under which we bathed.

There are those loves whose loss we ache, and are always somewhere in our psyche.

Some more than others and she has burrowed deep under my skin! Thanks 'M'
i think as poets, we often wonder if ex loves think of us time to time, as we think and write about them from time to time.

I agree Jacob but I doubt we the 'jilted' get any of their attention! Many thanks.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
