Qawra MorningA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenBliss does existQawra Morning I am in no rush as I slip gratefully into the laid back breasts of Malta. I sit on the balcony, coffee in hand, and listen to the day stirring. A dog barks somewhere in the distance, birds chirp gleefully overhead. Soft music seeps from the flat across the road and a pepper of voices float upon the serenity of mornings whisper. And I am mellow in the arms of the rising sun upon my skin as it slowly and majestically floats over the Mediterranean. Here I am at peace with the world. Here are the carefree days I have dreamt of. Here I may find myself and my soul.
