False Dreams

False Dreams

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

People have to believe in something

"

False Dreams

My Gran used to hope

that her 'boat' would soon come in

but it never did!

A phrase very much superseded by 'When I win the lotto' these days my friend.
A great throwback in time to simpler yet harder times.
Brilliant wee ditty here. I enjoyed this very much.

I guessed you would dear friend. Many thanks!
Very nice job of taking a old statement and making it new. Very creative thought and well written. I applaud you on your work.
