SearchingA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenThe mystery eludes me.Searching The sum total of my divinity resides within insanity. The place to which I flee and where I can be myself. A tragic drowning pool where only sadness rules and I am but a knave with no control of waves. There I sink in excrement, suck upon a Polo Mint to dull the taste of such toxic waste. Yet it is a safe place where only I can pace myself. So no rescue required for I have retired from a world where fate has left me only hate. And there is the rub the actual nub of the matter as I seek my own soul.
