Not Waving But Drowning AgainA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenNot Waving But Drowning Again I slipped below the surface of my grief and in that sea of misery, only darkness reigned. A cold, bleak, inky swell that stretched beyond the horizons of my sanity. And in such a time of madness was born despair; a deep well into whose throat I plunged, and although I could swim like a fish, even I sank beneath those crow black waves.
