A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Wallflower

Flecks of careless hair

adorn her face.

Across the room

there is a boy,

shy but bold

enough.

He clings to life

with both hands,

fear of slipping,

of tumbling

to earth,

leaves him

paralysed with fear.

So he stands

and watches.

And so she waits.

it is amazing how we can want someone so badly, and yet be that paralyzed that we just can't make a move...i love your lines "He clings to life/ with both hands"---shows just how exaggerated his fear is...

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
