Riding the Waves

Riding the Waves

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen

Riding the Waves

She surfs

in search

of the ultimate.

On the internet

there are oh

so many possibilities.

Each time

she looks, she

fears she may

miss the best

and so she surfs

some more,

until she forgets

herself

and what it is

she's seeking.

I lose my thoughts much faster than that. Happens all the time. Fun piece.
