Poetry PottersA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenWe craft...........................................................................Poetry Potters A thought is turned, like peaty earth for planting. Gnarled, worked hands grasp conspicuous concepts, and dig deep Mariana trenches below oceanic waves of notorious notions. Mixed seed spores rain down, filling furrowed brow with the nourishment of cognitive inquiry, intuition, perception, emotion, constructs, reason and memories. The polished palette-knife scrapes colours carefully to build upon the canvas, and puttied fingers mould and tease and throw clay words, until fired hard and glazed, they become our art. 12/02/17 © 2017 John Alexander McFadyenAuthor's Note
