The Declaration of IndependenceA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenWha wadna fecht for charlie! The
Declaration of Independence Bute House today hears historic words, as dearly departed friends lick their sorry Westminster wounds and fight amongst themselves. Bruce would be so proud that an army so small could still harry and confuse the enemy, sending proud Edwards to their fate. But hold! Amongst us are traitors. Those who took the Queen's shilling, sold us into Darien disaster, and urged us into servitude under a crown of self-centred anglophile, capitalist gluttony. Brown and Darling are the enemy of The Kingdom of Scotland. Their forked tongues in polished BBC brogue, stab like dirks into the very flesh of true Scots. 13/03/17 © 2017 John Alexander McFadyenReviews
