Changing Letters Game

Changing Letters Game

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Endings seem so swift

"

Changing Letters Game

All I saw was blue words

spilling frosted from

cracked, spiteful lips,

once cherry red

and mine to kiss.

Strange how the transformation

from lover to it's over

happens like a word puzzle

once played

on a Ryanair flight

to Menorca.

And the overall effect is akin to Trotsky's demise a la ice-pick.
You wrote a moment that comes to anyone who has loved - wrote it perfectly John.
