Peel Me a Grape

Peel Me a Grape

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

There ain't no more, you've taken everything From my belief in Mother Earth Can you ignore my faith in everything 'Cause I know what faith is and what it's worth Steve Harley - Make Me Smile (come Up

"

Peel Me a Grape

Ice and lemon

and tonic in her gin.

A pear shaped woman

appealing to most men.

A dazzling smile,

confidence a charm.

An intellect

as bright as they come.

The sharpest wit

with which to entertain.

She's never boastful but

perhaps a little vain.

'She's done it all,

she's broken every code'

in the words of the song,

so just why did she

spoil the game?

Some like to play by the rules and some like to break the rules - I guess she was the latter John.
Great title - best I've seen in a while.

she wanted to know if we would still love her if she did that...if she lost the perfect image we had of her.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
