Crown of Thorns

Crown of Thorns

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Too many broken promises.

"

Crown of Thorns

My heart bleeds red tears

over all the years I've lost

in sorrow and pain.

Such wretchedness in so few finely laid words.

Words laid as nay maiden was. Many thanks Emmajoy.
And these tears are not spilled outside but become etched on the walls of the heart, eventually dried..

Short, but heart touching..

You're welcome, John Alexander 😊
Such an internal self-assessment where you feel those drops drip from your heart into the depth of a torn cavity ripped by the traumas of love – I feel the pain expressed here.
