Bereft

Bereft

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

A sadness clouds us daily as we strive to survive.

"

Bereft

Sometimes love

is all there is.

When the world rails

and we recoil

being loved can save us.

No chance, no money,

no salvation,

but in the warm arms

of love

we can still exist.

So very true. If we lose ourselves mentally then everything else begins to tumble. Only a matter of time. Hate may win the hour but love shall conquer the day. Always a pleasure reading your work John.

I tried and you are welcome.
and without it, we are still breathing entities, but the pulse is faint.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
