QuislingA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenBetrayalQuisling
You sided with the invader who tried to subjugate my heart. You told all my secrets to the white stucco walls, skulked in damp, dark, musty cellars, and breathed in whispers of deceit about my weaknesses, so that I could easily be vanquished. Your collaboration had no bounds friendship, love counted for nought in the end; and you did this for what? Other than your own furtherance.
