Heaven or Earth?

Heaven or Earth?

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

We once thought the earth flat!

"

Heaven or Earth?

I am but ambient,

a Higgs-Boson molecule.

I exist but am not here

on this tawdry, little planet;

I am everywhere.

My essence leaks

into space,

every space.

I float in the poetic cosmos

beyond the comprehension of man.

I will not be defined

by the human race.

In this vacuous place

I have a non-zero constant value,

I live in the heavens with an angel,

yet on this planet I am with you.

The earth is not flat

and we are not constrained

by celestial bodies.

So float,

float away

and be consumed.

we are never constrained as poets...our words don't wear chains...we are voices that need to be heard...and yours is especially one to heed---your latest poems are like the Beats....tapping us on the shoulder to get our attention.

No, we can't be defined by constants. Every human fingerprint is different and so is the DNA. I read somewhere that human DNA could be planted on earth by extra terrestrials.

I float in the poetic cosmos
beyond the comprehension of man.

I'd say the only thing one is sure of is that earth is not flat. The rest is mystery, even my own mind.

Appreciated so much John.

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
