SingedA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenWe all make mistakes.Singed I got burnt once, well more than once. My mother always warned me against touching kettles but I never assimilated this lesson into my life's vocabulary. Always one to stray over the lines, especially when it comes to affairs of the heart. Aye there is the rub, the heart and its errant, innate desires. Always willing to take the chance even when other's screamed not to get involved. But I always see beauty and forgive fault, and thus my hands are scarred from too often handling hot potatoes.
