Love We Must

Love We Must

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Gentle musings for a lover

"

Love We Must

There is such sadness

in this tragedy

as we pass,

two parts of a whole,

never joined,

complete,

satisfied or not.

Still a mystery

despite the magnetism,

the gentling,

bubbling,

sometimes raging

desire.

Frustration builds

and then tears at flesh

with soft hands,

and tears

only to burn like acid

in your heart.

Then like lovers,

tiff now quelled,

we unite,

pen courtship whispers,

make verbal love,

the most beautiful

real, ethereal kind

found anywhere

in this universe,

our tryst

a bed

full of blissful kisses

upon moist lips,

bare of colour.

Wonderful use of words and thoughts my friend. I agree with your thoughts and your logic.

yiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! ;)
lovers in theory, maybe not reality...but it can be just as sensuous..
that is for sure...

verbal love can have more meaning than we could imagine.

Yes I agree Jacob, more than we could imagine. Many thanks for saying so.
Then like lovers,
tiff now quelled,
we unite,
pen courtship whispers,
make verbal love,
the most beautiful
real, ethereal kind
found anywhere
in this universe,

these are very beautiful lines :)

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
