Once Touched

Once Touched

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Some flavours endure.

"

Once Touched

Even one moment of love

is better than none at all.

For in those precious minutes

a heart can feel open,

a soul complete,

a body afire,

in the giving

and receiving

of breaths n'sighs

and touch'ed thighs,

and the burning of

the deepest,

most delightful

carnal midnight desires.

Yes, It is the consummate joining of mind, soul, heart and body...the explosion of being...the experience divine. Beautiful language, passionate lines and imagery. Perfect poem. Kudos John!

I bow low Annette, many thanks.
Don't they say 'It is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.' But hopefully the man in the poem will have some more 'delightful carnal midnight desires.' coming unexpectedly round the next corner.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
