Fury

Fury

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

I can simply explode given the right fuse wire!

"

In a phosphorus flash

my anger explodes

like white hot shrapnel,

the nuts and bolts

and fragments of verbal

metal casings

fly in cordite fury

outwards,

indiscriminately

scything into bellies

of soft flesh.

Penetrating the skin, scalp,

cartilage, muscle and bone

of anyone who gets

in the path of my ire.

Innocent has no meaning,

collateral no value,

as eyes are punctured,

limbs hacked

and chests crushed

with fuming hatred.

anger can be devastating...and sometimes is something we wish could take back...but the broken limbs of emotion often get amputated and cannot grow back.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
