A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Final Cinquain for now

The edge,

even nearer

than it ever has been,

summons me to my destiny's

resolve.

one of the things i appreciate about this poem, John, is how the ending can go either way. Much like Langston Hughes' "dream deferred" ---it can be a good resolve or a sad resolve...but either way...the symmetrical nature tells us, there will be closure.
nicely done,
j.
