Sceptic

Sceptic

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Going to close down as this is getting ridiculous!

"

True love,

the biggest lie

that 'god' ever gave us.

And we believed it all, poor fools,

amen!

We did, and continue to do so. But can we ever be sure? Light-headedness, shortness of breath...it's either love or carbon monoxide poisoning. Either way, we are usually screwed, and not in a good way :)

Indeed so Lorry. My follow up (part 2) seems to be floating around on Darwinism!
These cinquains are quite addictive aren't they John? Your lines speak to me of someone who has been disappointed in love. Maybe if those expectations weren't so high, it could work out better. The ingredients to true love are a well kept secret. Brevity which says a great deal. All your readers will have a different opinion on this subject. I think it's out there and without doubt some find it.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
