Writing Beneath A RockA Poem by John Alexander McFadyenWe all write because we love it and would like to think we are good enough!Living in the void between earths I have so many filled pages that the ink has wandered through osmosis, to be diluted in the ether of forgotten time. The words hang threadbare in the cloud and simply degenerate in the bowels of my laptop. The seeds I sow appear to fall upon fallow earth, and despite their healthy DNA they fail to germinate, simply wither in the ground. Bitter tears wash the pain and the sin and the regret, the joys and all my memories into an ocean of mediocrity and mindless, meaningless, anonymity. 01/02/19 © 2019 John Alexander McFadyenAuthor's NoteReviews
