For the Drop

For the Drop

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

Free falling.

"

Drop out,

drop-in, drop by.

Drop by bloody red drop

she bled me dry then dropped me

like stone.

Yeah it's true that people you care about can hurt you but I also believe that they will never do it intentionally if they also care for you. A nice and true poem

Thank you Anjeline
Why is it always the ones we care about that show such little care for us? The eternal conundrum that is life sees no end of ever finding the reason, or clarity to understand.
The drop by drop rings such a familiar tune, probably to way more than you and me.
The play on drop is superbly original.

Thank you Lorry. Took a bit of poetic licence once again.
Good morning John. Brevity, both powerful and revealing. Sounds like an encounter with a vampire, but I'm not sure they exist other than in fiction.

About
Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
