Empty Rhetoric

Empty Rhetoric

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

It seems whenever things go wrong these days and there is an investigation into any disaster, those in charge come up with the expected meaningless, empty mantra and nothing changes!

"

Spare me

the platitudes,

the banal, empty and

pointless statements that lessons will

be learnt.

Exactly its political correctness gone wrong, over analysed just like books of Noddy where now its not on to have big ears sleeping with Noddy. Just a load of crap by experts! but not from a kid's perspective.

How true this is John. Bored to death the number of times it is said. They can't even come up with a different way of saying it. There's one hell of a lot of learning to be done.

Indeed so Chris. Hope you are having a nice day. Many thanks.
Spot on, nothing changes. If it's not kicked into the long grass, it's sure as hell left for years so it's so diluted and probably replaced with something else.
